When several sites share infrastructure operations applications, a single global report rarely serves every briefing. Local supervisors need site-level figures; regional managers need rollups. Application analytics can support both — if cadence and audience are designed together.
A workable pattern is daily exception notes at site level, a weekly pack for supervisors, and a monthly rollup for regional review. The underlying application data stays the same; the cut and commentary change.
Time zones matter. Teams reporting into Korea Standard Time should freeze cut-off times explicitly so late extracts from another region do not silently shift weekly totals.
If your organization is consolidating reporting ownership, start with cadence before redesigning visuals. A clear calendar of who receives what, and when, prevents most duplicate work.
